The Old Vicarage in Moulsford is entering a new chapter, we’d like to tell you more about it…
Finding a care home for someone you love can be emotional and daunting. Things change quickly and it can be difficult to know what the right solution is. Hanning Homes has recently bought The Old Vicarage in Moulsford and I am determined to help make this process better.
The Old Vicarage is located in a pretty, rural village in Oxfordshire, very close to the River Thames. It has a long history of providing exceptional residential and dementia care. Many of the amazing team have been at The Old Vicarage for over 10 years, and a handful for over 20 years. The team’s commitment and expertise in caring for our residents is humbling. It is this amazing foundation that I am building on by investing in a number of important areas. In addition to a full redecoration of the home, we are adding to all aspects of life at the home. Our new head chef Tim will be teaming up with our inspiring specialist nutritionist Kirsty to create dementia specific food. We are renovating and individualising our laundry service. Our new activities leader Kelly is introducing stimulating, fun & life enhancing activities such as cooking, flower arranging & music sessions. The local schools are supporting us with our events program helping to add to the huge sense of community at The Old Vicarage. We are building a care home based on what I would want for my own parents. Wonderful care that is built specifically around the individual – delivered in a warm, friendly and homely environment that makes residents feel safe and happy. Dear all,
I just wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in the care of my mum, Toun.
