Deputy Manager
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and hands-on Deputy Care Home Manager to join our leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care, enjoys developing people and wants to play a key role in the day-to-day running of our home. About the role Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help lead our care team, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care every day. You will be a visible and approachable leader, supporting colleagues, maintaining high standards and helping create an environment where residents and staff feel valued. Your key responsibilities Lead and support our care team, providing guidance, coaching, supervision and development. Champion outstanding resident care, ensuring dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Oversee care plans and risk assessments, ensuring they are accurate, personalised and regularly reviewed. Support safe staffing, coordinating rotas, staff deployment and effective shift handovers. Maintain excellent standards in medicines management, safeguarding, infection prevention and daily care delivery. Build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and visiting healthcare professionals. Support quality and compliance, completing audits, monitoring care standards and contributing to continuous improvement. Take an active leadership role, supporting the Registered Manager and providing operational leadership during agreed periods of absence. What we’re looking for We would love to hear from someone who has: Previous experience in a senior or deputy management role within adult social care, or substantial care leadership experience and is ready for the next step. A Level 4 or Level 5 qualification in Adult Social Care, Health and Social Care or an equivalent relevant qualification, or is currently working towards one. Experience supporting people living with dementia and complex care needs. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, develop and inspire others. Good knowledge of safeguarding, medicines management, care planning and CQC expectations. Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. A genuine passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who leads by example, genuinely cares about residents and colleagues, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care.
Activities Coordinator
We are seeking a compassionate Activities Co-ordinator to energise and enrich the lives of residents in a care home setting. In this vital role, you will facilitate engaging activities tailored to the interests and needs of our residents. Your enthusiasm and creativity will foster a lively, inclusive environment that promotes social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being.
